BFW/Marcum partnered with the Union County Fiscal Court to transform a former cornfield into a vibrant, multi-use recreation destination in Morganfield, KY. Completed in 2026, the new pickleball complex enhances community connectivity and expands access to modern, accessible amenities.
Project Highlights:
- Eight multi-colored, post-tensioned concrete pickleball courts
- Shade shelters covering spectator areas
- State-of-the-art court lighting for extended play
- 39-space paved parking lot
- ADA-accessible restroom building and picnic shelter
- Additional 6-person ADA restroom serving the existing baseball field complex
- Upgrades to existing water, sewer, and electrical infrastructure
- New sanitary sewer lift station
- Energy-efficient parking lot lighting
From concept to completion, the project was delivered in just 16 months, turning an undeveloped site into a true “pickleball palace” that serves the community for years to come.
