Education/Experience:
- Associate or Bachelor of Science Degree in relevant field of study
- Experience in engineering design programs such as AutoCAD and Autodesk Revit
Essential Job Functions:
- Produce project-based specifications
- Collaborate with our team to develop initial design concepts based on project requirements and objectives.
- Create plumbing plans, schematics, equipment selection, calculations, systems narratives and specifications, system design and layout, field investigation and construction administration
- Interpret and apply design codes and specifications
- Perform on-site observations during construction and coordinate design requirements with contractors and equipment suppliers under the direction or project engineer.
- Must possess a detail-oriented mindset with a focus on producing accurate and high-quality designs

Desired Skills:
- Professional Licensure Survey or Land Surveyor in Training preferred but not required
- 5+ years of land surveyor experience preferred
- Proficient with technology such as Robotic Total Station, GPS, and LiDAR with the willingness and ability to learn and train others
- Familiarity with Survey Pro, Carlson, or Trimble Access
- High-level organizational and management skills
- Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Willingness to accept occasional out-of-town travel assignments and able to work overtime to meet project demands and deadlines.

- Perform research at courthouse, PVA office, City Hall, utility municipalities, etc. relevant to various survey projects
- Serve as the administrator and communication link between the firm and client, consultants, and public authorities
- Direct land survey projects by organizing the work on the land survey project and determining appropriate procedures needed to accomplish the project.

Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Geomatics, or related field a bonus but not required
- Working knowledge of utility design, construction, and maintenance standard
- This position will include frequent walking, kneeling, and sitting, and will be performed outdoors in varied weather conditions
- This position will include lifting & carrying heavy weighted materials (up to approximately 80 pounds)
- Able to work in excavation areas, roadways, industrial facilities, and other non-typical work environments.
- Driver’s license and good driving record are required.
Essential Job Functions:
- Conduct detailed field investigations using state-of-the-art equipment
- Review project specifications, plans, and permits
- Coordinate and communicate with utility owners, stakeholders, and contractors
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices
- Assist with other geophysical exploration data collection efforts such as GPR, seismic refraction, EM, electrical resistivity and more.
