BFW Engineering provided the structural evaluations and inspection of the existing building, and provided detailed fixes for the roof, wall and floor deteriorations. The structure is CMU and brick masonry, load-bearing walls with steel framing and concrete on metal decking floors.
Bacon Farmer Workman provided the structural design for a new steel framed 1,000 sf addition for new student workspace. The new addition has varying grade around its perimeter, therefore a portion of the perimeter walls of the addition are concrete retaining walls.
