This project entailed a 2.15-mile project to upgrade from an oil/chip roadway to provide an HMA wearing surface with a 3’ wide aggregate wedge shoulder the entire length of the project. This project involved completing all required IDOT BLRS Phase I LAFO documents along with completing the necessary contract plans and special provisions in compliance with IDOT policies. BFW staff was instrumental in writing the grant to secure TARP funding for Williamson County.
