Murray State University Paducah Campus

Murray State University (MSU) needed a new campus to replace the aging Crisp Center. Bacon Farmer Workman (BFW) and Marcum Engineering took on the project to create a new MSU Paducah Campus near the Barkley Woods area of Paducah, Kentucky. For the campus, BFW and Marcum provided the civil and structural design as well as the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design for the new 50,000 square foot facility which included facilities such as:
- Numerous classrooms
- Lecture halls
- Administrative spaces
- Student lounges
- Computer labs
- Laboratory spaces
The new MSU Paducah Campus draws nearly 2,000 students in yearly enrollment and offers third and fourth-year courses in programs such as river studies, health physics, and transportation studies. BFW and Marcum are proud to have expanded MSU’s capabilities to offer higher education opportunities and options in Paducah, Kentucky.
