Martens Center

Martens Center is a new 48,000 SF community center located in NE Champaign, Illinois. This state of the art $10.6M facility is a partnership with the Champaign Park District and the Don Moyer Boy and Girls Club. Martens Center is home to a fitness center, full size gymnasium with running track, two basketball courts, two fitness rooms, four multi-purpose rooms, restrooms, elevator, wellness suite, laundry room, game room, art room, recording studio, innovation center, after school program area, and instructional residential grade kitchen. The Center prioritizes STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics) education through an Innovation Center that collaborates with the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. This facility also serves as a designated “safe place” for inclement weather for the nearby community.
