Marion HUB
Marion, Illinois – Williamson County
Bacon Farmer Workman Engineering & Testing, Inc. and Marcum Engineering, LLC. were selected to provide the full structural, mechanical and electrical engineering design on this new 72,000 square foot recreational facility which is located in Marion, Illinois. This facility was constructed on the site of the former Marion Memorial Hospital and was completed in early 2015.
The recreation center houses:
- Competition-sized pool
- Leisure pool
- Waterslides
- Warm water exercise/therapy pool
- Multi-court gymnasium
- Walking/running track
- Fitness area
- Locker rooms
- Coffee/juice/snack bar
- Youth center
BFW and Marcum teamed with Baysinger Architects on this project.
