Livingston County Judicial Center
Smithland, Kentucky – Livingston County
Bacon Farmer Workman Engineering & Testing, Inc. and Marcum Engineering, LLC provided the complete civil and structural design services as well as the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design for this new $8.9 million, 28,950 square foot state of the art judicial center.
The new judicial center is a two-story facility which houses four courtrooms, law library, circuit clerk’s office, and prison handling areas as well as numerous waiting areas, restrooms and conference room, and training areas. This facility replaces one of Kentucky’s oldest courthouses, which remains intact next to the new structure.
