The City of Madisonville and Hopkins County’s Sportsplex project consisted of a new nearly 90,000 SF facility constructed of a pre-engineered metal building. To complete the new Kentucky Sports Factory, Marcum Engineering provided the fire protection, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical design.

In addition, the building anchors a multi-acre site with rough grading prepared for three future football/soccer fields while onsite parking accommodates 400 spaces, including space for large vehicles, with overflow parking opportunities at nearby sites. Marcum is proud to assist the City of Madisonville and Hopkins County in increasing the community facilities and capabilities which will allow residents to stay healthier and more active along with allowing space to host regional tournaments.
