Interstate 155, Superpave Asphalt Overlay

Twenty (20) lane miles of Interstate 155, in Pemiscot County, required a superpave asphalt overlay which required pavement repair, concrete cross stitching, cold milling, guardrail upgrades, and superpave asphalt. • Inspections:
    • Asphalt plant
    • Material testing
    • Contractor’s work
  • Contractor and Construction Management:
    • Monitor production rates
    • Identify pavement repair, expansion joint, and cross-stitching areas
    • Verify compliance with contract documents
    • Monitor contractor’s quality control plan
  • Administration:
    • Save documentation to MoDOT’s SharePoint site
    • Review CRE2O reports
    • Documentation of pay items, estimate generation, and complete change orders
    • Complete all applicable portions of AASHTOWare (AWP)
    • Manage traffic control for work zones
    • Update local partners on construction activities

BFW is proud to have managed the project to revitalize the 155 Interstate and increasing the safety of the roadway for the local community.
