This project involves construction of a new overpass bridge for the extension of Ingram Road to the south of US60 as part of Sikeston’s industrial park development. BFW was responsible for overseeing all aspects of contract administration, construction inspection, and QA testing which included: verifying contractor’s layout; monitoring QC testing; inspection of contractor’s work to verify compliance with contract documents; material testing/inspection; measurement/documentation of pay items; erosion control inspection and maintaining MoDOTs stormwater database; completing all applicable portions of AASHTOWare (AWP); saving documentation to MoDOT’s SharePoint site; completing change orders; monitoring contractor’s quality control plan; review CRE2O reports; estimate generation; review and approval of subcontracts; reviewing contractor payrolls; and managing traffic control for work zones. Keeping local partners updated on construction activities.
