I-74 At I-57 Interchange

Bacon Farmer Workman Engineering & Testing, Inc. and Joint Venture partners, Crawford Murphy Tilly were selected for this Phase I project in Champaign County, Illinois-IDOT Region Three/District Five.
Phase I engineering services are required for the preparation of a preliminary engineering report (combined design report) and environmental study anticipated to be processed as an Environmental Assessment (EA) by the District for the reconstruction of the I-74/I-57 interchange in Champaign County.
The engineering scope of work includes, but is not limited to: evaluating operations of the interchanges as well as mainline I-74 and I-57, alternate geometric studies, traffic studies including intersection and interchange type and design studies, access justification report, access control revisions, hydraulic and drainage reports. Work also includes Microscale CO analysis, Highway Traffic Noise analysis, public information meetings, preparation of the project report and all other work necessary to complete the Phase I report including incorporation of environmental documentation. Coordination with the FHWA is also expected to be required. In addition, there are eight structures included in this project.
