Hopkins County Judicial Center

The Hopkins County Judicial Center project consisted of a new 71,128 square feet facility for a new judicial center located in Madisonville, Kentucky. For the large judicial center, Marcum Engineering provided the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design to create the facility which includes:
- Building Services
- Clerk’s Office
- Evidence Storage Area
- Five Courtrooms Total
- Mechanical/Electrical Room
- One Family Courtroom
- Pre-trial Area/Conference Area
- Prisoner Holding Area
- Sally Port
- Secure Entry Area
- Two Circuit Courtrooms
- Two District Courtrooms
In addition, Marcum ensured special attention to systems to ensure adequate capacity to support modern data, video, computer, and networking technology. Security was also given a top priority as the facility has a single-point entry with magnetometers and security personnel, giving the new judicial center the highest level of Kentucky court security. Marcum is proud to have designed a secure, comprehensive, and spacious new Hopkins County Judicial Center which will be able to grow with the community and provide service for years to come.
