Herrin Elementary School Classroom Addition

In 2023, BFW, alongside Steve Sims, the lead architect at Architechniques Limited, finalized the Herrin Elementary School Addition project. This expansion encompassed a 5,600 square foot classroom, with BFW handling the structural design in its entirety. The addition features load-bearing cold-formed metal stud walls along all exterior walls, steel beams and columns lining the interior corridor, and top chord-bearing cold-formed metal trusses, ensuring its durability for years to come.
