Embarras River

Bacon Farmer Workman (BFW) was entrusted with the Embarras River project which required the removal and replacement of a bridge over the Embarras River near Villa Grove along with the roadway rehabilitation of the intersection IL 6 to the south and just beyond a reconstructed school entrance to the north. This required multiple preparation services from BFW such as:

• Preliminary Bridge Plan
• Phase I plans
• Phase II plans

To include a shared use path, the proposed structure was made wider which increased the length of the project. However, the path will add more utility and growth capacity to the structure. In addition, staged construction was used for traffic control. BFW is proud to have contributed to the growth, development, and increased accessibility the Embarras River project will provide.
