County Road 657 over Scism Creek

This $650,000 project consisted of removal and replacement of the existing 3-span bridge over Scism Creek for the Cape Special Road District, including all preliminary engineering to prepare a complete set of roadway and bridge plans and specifications for a local letting.  BFW Engineering performed a topographic survey of the road and ROW, and channel/floodplain cross-sections up- and down-stream of the crossing.  This project also involved the submittal of an Environmental Survey Request, submittal of a Preliminary Bridge Design and Hydraulic Report, and submittals and coordination necessary to receive Corps of Engineers Permits.
