BFW provided surveying, civil engineering, and landscape architecture services for Cottage Lane Apartments, a new multi-family residential development consisting of two triplex buildings in Murray, Kentucky. Working alongside architect Kevin Perry, our team provided the site design and coordination necessary to support the development.
BFW’s scope of services included:
- Topographic survey and utility locations for design
- Demolition plan for the existing residence
- Site plan, including parking for 16 vehicles, sidewalks, dumpster pad, and speed table
- Site grading and stormwater detention design
- Erosion control plan
- Utility plan
- Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP)
- Landscape architecture coordination for screening along College Farm Road
- Coordination with the City of Murray and Murray Fire Department
Minor subdivision and final platting services were completed by L.I. Smith & Associates. Through coordination across disciplines and with local agencies, BFW helped develop a comprehensive site plan to support the new residential development and its surrounding community.
