Barkley Regional Airport
Paducah, KY
The new, foundational, 25,100 square-feet terminal at Barkley Airport for Paducah and Western Kentucky replaced the previous 67-year-old terminal. After three and a half years of construction, the terminal is now an attractive “front door” showcasing our region and representing what we have to offer with many modern amenities, accessible spaces for all passengers, and design with up-to-date styling reflecting the people, places, and materials of the area. Some amenities include two family restrooms, two mothers’ rooms and a relief area for pets. Also, the terminal’s design incorporates materials, textures, and artwork that reflect the local community and culture. The 43-million-dollar investment in this terminal represents a brighter future for the region, connects western Kentucky to the world, and fosters growth and opportunity for families and businesses.
