Accounts Payable Specialist
Paducah, Kentucky
BFW is seeking a full-time Accounts Payable specialist to join our Paducah, Kentucky, accounting/finance team.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Clear written and verbal communication
- Time management skills
- Able to maintain confidential information
Key Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day general ledger accounting for multiple entities, as assigned
- Performs Accounts Payable activities to include preparation and processing of payable batches into our accounting software
- Reconcile assigned accounts and research any discrepancies noted
- Maintain organized records of all accounts payable transactions for audits and reporting
- Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to address inquiries and support month-end close activities
- Maintain vendor contracts, supplemental agreements, etc.
- Assist with requests from external auditors

Construction Materials Testing Technician
Paducah, Kentucky
BFW is seeking a full-time Construction Materials Testing Technician to our Paducah, Kentucky, team.

Qualifications:
- Candidates with certifications of ACI, NICET, Troxler Nuclear Density, ASNT and/or AWS-CWI are preferred, but not required
- Driver’s license and good driving record are required
Key Responsibilities:
In this position, you will be responsible for quality control, construction monitoring, evaluating materials and workmanship, and interpreting contract documents. You will also perform soil, aggregate, asphalt, and concrete testing; inspection of reinforcing steel, wood framing, structural steel, light gauge metal framing; seismic inspection of mechanical, electrical, plumbing and ceiling grid. All these will require frequent reporting to the project manager and will make you an essential part of ensuring projects are completed in a timely and workmanlike manner.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to move, lift, or carry objects or materials up to 50 lbs. without assistance
- Ability to climb ladders and scaffolding
- Ability to physically maneuver construction sites and excavations
- Visual/hearing ability sufficient to comprehend written/verbal communications in the English language, including the ability to communicate directly and over the telephone and be understood.

SUE (Subsurface Utility Engineering) Technician – Utility Locating Technician
Sunset Hills, MO, or Belleville, IL.
BFW is seeking a full-time SUE (Subsurface Utility Engineering) Technician – Utility Locating Technician to join our team in one of the following locations: Sunset Hills, MO, or Belleville, IL.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geophysics, Geology, or related field preferred but not required
- Working knowledge of utility design, construction, and maintenance standards
- Willingness to travel for project assignments (approximately 25%)
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed field investigations using state-of-the-art equipment
- Review project specifications, plans, and permits
- Coordinate and communicate with utility owners, stakeholders, subconsultants, and contractors
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices
- Assist with geophysical exploration data collection (e.g., GPR, seismic refraction, EM, electrical resistivity)
- Perform Utility Locating using EM Line Locator and GPR
Physical Demands:
- Job will be performed both in the office and outdoors in varied weather conditions. In office requirements will be the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards. The fieldwork will require that an individual be able to wear and work in personal protective equipment on occasion.
- Position requires that the individual is able to lift and carry weighted materials (up to approximately 70 pounds) and maneuver large, cumbersome equipment.
- Will require the ability to stand, walk, and sit, talk and hear, both in person and by telephone, use hands to handle objects or controls, and reach with hands and arms.
- This position will regularly require stooping, kneeling, bending, and crouching.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Geophysics, Geology, Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Travel will be required
- Valid driver’s license in the state of residence
Key Responsibilities:
