Dwina Road Bridge Replacement

BFW replaced the Dwina Road Bridge that led to a local letting. To replace the bridge, BFW performed all PE I & II design services, detailed road/bridge plans, permit applications, and special provisions. However, this was only part of the work; BFW also had to complete field surveys, environmental survey requests, hydraulic analysis, soil borings, geotechnical analysis, submittal of a bridge condition report, submittal of a preliminary bridge design and hydraulic report, and submittal of a joint permit application to the Corps of Engineers, IDNR and the IEPA. BFW completed the replacement following each step to provide a complete product with all permits and paperwork in order from start to finish.
