25th Street Reconstruction

Bacon Farmer Workman (BFW) contracted with the City of Paducah to prepare plans and specifications to reconstruct 25th Street from Jackson St. to Alabama St. This street serves a large residential area as well as schools in the vicinity, baseball stadium, and park, so multiple improvements for use were required to service the area better such as:

  • Widen the street to 40’
  • Add curb, gutter, and sidewalks
  • On-street parking
  • Improved storm sewers
  • Removed and replaced substandard pavements

In addition, BFW prepared the water relocation plans for Paducah Water. BFW is proud to have expanded the utility and safety of 25th Street from Jackson St. to Alabama St., and the project was completed in May of 2023.
