The Alpa Delta Pi sorority house on the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign campus required renovations totaling to a three-million-dollar project. Bacon Farmer Workman’s (BFW) Champaign, Illinois, office was entrusted with providing the structural engineering services for the renovation. The renovation and structural services included:
- French architectural components
- Updated bathrooms and living quarters for up to 48 students
- Site investigations of the existing structure
- Design of new structural components
- Repair of existing structural elements
The historic building’s renovation marked the 100-year anniversary of the 20,000 square foot and four-story tall building. BFW is proud to have been a part of the renovation and preservation of the Alpa Delta Pi sorority house, allowing the building to continue serving and housing more students.
