Murray Water District – #2 Water Main

Murray, Kentucky – Calloway County

Murray Water District required work to be done for their #2 Water Main, a 17,300 L.F. (approximately 3.28 miles) 6” water main extension. The project is adjacent to Ky. Hwy. 1497, A.K.A. Murray-Paris Road and Tobacco Road, and it linked two water districts (641 Water District & Murray Water District #2) together with a bi-directional water meter to monitor water usage. Bacon Farmer Workman (BFW) took on the project which included:

In addition, BFW submitted and obtained required permits from Kentucky Division of Water which included permits for both the water main and construction in and along existing streams. BFW is proud to have facilitated the smooth completion of the #2 Water Main project which will help the Murray Water District better serve Murray, Kentucky.
