Livingston County Judicial Center

Smithland, Kentucky – Livingston County

The new Livingston County Judicial Center will replace one of Kentucky’s oldest courthouses, which will remain intact next to the new structure. The new courthouse will be 28,950 square feet and cost $8.9 million. To complete the new, state of the art judicial center, Bacon Farmer Workman (BFW) and Marcum Engineering provided the complete civil and structural design services as well as the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design. Within the new facility, numerous more resources and facilities will be available such as:

  • Four courtrooms
  • Law library
  • Circuit clerk’s office
  • Prison handling areas
  • Waiting areas
  • Restrooms
  • Conference room
  • Training areas

BFW and Marcum are proud to assist in the construction of the new Livingston County Judicial Center which will provide extensive new facilities to support and provide judicial services to the community for many years to come without removing the historic building it now resides next to.
